The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is an organization which helps disabled military veterans and their families. It was created in 1921 under the name of the Disabled American Veterans of the World War (DAVWW).
You can learn more about DAV and how you can help disabled veterans visiting their website, or participating (if you live in the States) in one of their information seminars which are free of charge.
